Crufts 2025

Diane and Chalkie had a great time competing at Crufts this year, here are some photos from on the day

Saturday 8th March 2025 saw Chalkie (Johnasta Jus Chalkie among Launatzarben) strutting his stuff on the green carpet. 

He was first in the ring and this year everyone competing were offered use of the ring prior to the judge arriving which was brilliant,. Unfortunately Chalkie is very worried in this environment but he put on a brave face and did his best for me. He lost 3.5 for his Heelwork and 1 on his recall. Total of 4.5 marks putting him 23 out of 31. Marks were lost on the Heelwork as Chalkie kept looking round to see where the judge was and veering away from me. On his recall something was irritating him (I think he had a fancy collar on that was tickling him) so he came in to one leg then delayed in his finish

I love this boy so much.

My niece came with me this year and bought a doggy sling for him meaning he was safely tucked away on me while I mooched around the show.
